Our local farmers market is going on a hiatus until cooler weather returns, today is the last Sunday.  They will reopen September 30th. 

The good news is that one my favorite farmers, Sri, will being doing drop off’s on Sunday mornings at 8.  Just call here ahead of time at 480-491-0246 and let her know what you want.   She usually has interesting Asian vegetables in addition to the more common stuff, and the quality is always good.

I also need to plan a trip to the downtown Phoenix farmers market -- it will go all summer and I have heard on the Chowhound site they have several farmers with a good selection.
