Farmer's Market -- June Update

The Ahwatukee Farmer's Market is continuing through June!  They are well into summer produce:  melons, zucchini, tomatoes (not hothouse), cucumbers, peaches (need to eat over the sink they are so juicy).  Plus, there is still some spinach and snap peas available, plus garlic, ginger, and onions.

I'll also give a plug to the guy who sells the Italian food.  He does a wonderful eggplant lasagna (where eggplant is standing in for the noodles, so its low carb / wheat free / vegetarian, good meat sauces..  and caters.

Please support the market, it's really an opportunity to get flavors that are not available in the supermarkets..   The market  is on Sunday, and is now starting at 8am  It would be good if we can keep them coming through the summer.

      Hi Vy,

At the market today, they said they are now planning to be there all summer (assuming people keep coming). They have better stuff every week... had corn for the first time today! They are starting at 8.
