Barbera d'Asti

Continuing with the Italian theme, last night we opened a Barbera d'Asti from Michele Chiarlo.  The bottle said it was from the Piedmont region....  which (to those who are geography challenged) is essentially the kneecap of the Italy boot.  Its not far from Turin, which I remember from the last Olympics.  We will be visiting  the other side of the country.   The wine was nice, in the every-day drinking variety.  Its made from barbera grapes.  I have actually ripped several of the CD's... but not yet on the iPOD.  but for now, there is Babelfish.  Buona notte!
